Serenity Cottage: The Outside
Welcome to Serenity
Cottage~~ These exterior photos were taken in
October 2008.
Serenity
Cottage: A Little "Walk Through."
It is said, "A picture is worth a thousand words," which has proven to
be true over and over. So we invite you to a little "walk through" of
Serenity Cottage, along with proper captions. Enjoy the tour.
For sitting and relaxing
Sit
down and sip a refreshing beverage in one of these great spots: the sun
porch or the living room couch. You could
also watch DirectTV in the living room, while you kick your feet up
while sitting in one of the recliners.

The kitchen and dining
The
self-catering kitchen features an electric stove/oven (not shown), a
double-basin deep sink, Bosch © dishwasher, and full size refrigerator.
You can prepare your meals using the stainless steel pans, stainless
steel utensils, Corelle © dishes, silverware and glassware;
small
appliances include a microwave oven, a counter-top toaster oven,
toaster, crock pot, coffee maker, "hot pot" (for boiling water),
blender-- basically, like your own home kitchen. Sit at the
table
to enjoy your fresh prepared meal (you provide), while looking at the
antique cupboard from 1887 which was salvaged and restored to
incredible beauty, by proprietess Dorinda Brown.

The deep kitchen sink, dishwasher, refrigerator, and
table are seen in this photo.

The dining table and antique cubboard lends a warm
and cozy feel to your mealtime experience.
For rejuvenating sleep and comfort
Choose
between the master bedroom which boasts a queen size, hand-built cedar
frame bed-- built by Proprietess Dorinda Brown, or the smaller room
which has the twin size, antique brass bed. Keep in mind that organic
cotton linens are provided for you!

Here is the queen bed, the frame hand made by proprietess,
Dorinda Brown.

you!
Personal Care
The
"walk through" would not be complete without showing the beautifully
finished bathroom. This is where you can soak away your cares in a
genuine, cast iron, claw-foot tub! But don't worry, if you don't like
baths, you can take an invigorating shower! And the best part is that
we provide you with organic hygiene products~~ good for you and safe
for the environment!
Around the area of Deer Park
Below are some pictures from various locations around
